Rural development by promoting dairy cattle

As part of the fight against poverty, Action Nord-Sud Rwanda has initiated a project to protect the environment by the promotion of dairy cattle farming in the Burera District. Since 2006, it has already distributed 200 dairy cows as part of the “One cow per poor family” program. From milk production, breeders initiate an action to collect and market the milk produced.
