Who we are

Action Nord-Sud Rwanda (ANS Rwanda) is a non-governmental Rwandan organization created by a multidisciplinary team of people concerned with the development of disadvantaged populations. It obtained its legal personality by ministerial decree No. 50/11 of March 30, 2009, and approved by the Rwanda Governance Board RGB on 05/03/2013.

What we do

The Organization’s mission is to intervene in the promotion of agriculture / livestock, and social well-being which includes health and education, thereby improving the living conditions of disadvantaged populations.

Our History

ANS Rwanda course is divided into four sequences which illustrate its dynamic nature:

  • 1999-2003: Reflections on the establishment of the structure, development of regulatory texts and statutes.
  • 2004-2005: Search for compulsory administrative documents, search for financial and technical partners, project writing and search for funding,
  • 2006-2012: consolidation of partnership relations and implementation of livestock promotion and community development activities.
  • 2013-Up to now: consolidation and diversification of activities.
